During my visit to Uselu Psychiatric hospital benin city, Edo State, on December 22, 2025, I saw an unusual Police personnel at the entrance/exit of the Psychiatric Hospital. He was dressed in Nigeria Police Uniform but had the words Ranger written on his uniform, he was armed.

I asked him if he was the security personnel, he said Yes. I was with Barr.Precious, one of my lawyers in the team headed by Hon.Mrakpor SAN, The former Attorney General of Delta State.

I can’t find any references to Nigeria Police Rangers neither does our Forest Rangers seem to be Nigeria Police Officers. I forgot to take a picture but I’ll do so next time.

Americans or those who consume American media are familiar with forest rangers but Nigeria has Forest Guards.
