I established my office at Alihame, Agbor, Delta State, and paid all requirements by the community.

During the expansion of my company location, Alihame Community New Building Permit Committee visited my premises. They were unarmed and came with receipts and identification showing they represented the Alihame Community. They asked me to pay 400,000 Naira after inspecting the new structure which was primarily a fence that would increase the property size and improve security. I paid and they issued a receipt for the amount paid bearing Alihame Community New Building Permit.

This unarmed group has been mistaken for a different armed group of unknown gunmen who came to my property armed with gun(s) to demand land from me under the threat of being shot if I refused to comply. The armed group that threatened to shoot me if I did not give them a portion of my land for free is different from Alihame Community New Building Permit Committee. I have witnesses confirming the difference between these two groups. The reason the difference between the two groups is important is because I’m not accusing Alihame New Building Permit Committee of any crime but I’m accusing the second armed group of attempt to kill me and occupants of my property, robberies, malicious damage to my property, break-in and entry amongst other crimes.
