I returned to Nigeria in 2020. I spent a long time abroad in different countries handling different activities. I established successful interests in Government and Private sectors and supported a significant number of individuals and businesses.

I returned to Lagos for a brief time before traveling to Delta State.

Some factors influenced my decision to return to Nigeria in 2020, A key factor was meeting my father at Imeko, Ogun State, which borders Benin. I was in Benin at that time.

I trusted my brothers and sisters to take care of my father as they were in Nigeria but he needed my attention which was hard to provide from outside Nigeria. I decided to establish a local business in his town Agbor located in Delta State, where I could invest and provide better care for him.

I spent at least 10 years away from my father. My Sister died some years before I met him at Imeko; she was the person attending to him. I always remind my father that my decision to establish a business in his hometown was to be closer to him and provide better care, which is something only a good son would do. I continually remind him that he must not act against my interests while I’m doing my best for him.

I spent time with my mother in Sapele, Delta State, and my father in Agbor, Delta State. Since I do not like renting, I decided to build my office in Agbor, Delta State, which would save me money in the long run.

I built my office in Agbor, Delta State, and started operations. I do not need to be physically present to run my businesses in Lagos Nigeria and other locations but for my father’s sake, I decided to spend some time in Agbor, Delta State.

I spent some time with my mother too, There was an incident where my money went missing at her home and she told me my cousin stole it. I asked her how she was so confident that he did. She got angry at me for doubting her. She got the impression that i was white in character and can only accuse someone when I have evidence of the person acting wrongly which is normal but in Nigeria, people are accused just for being at a location or for having a history of crime. I woke up to marks on my back a short while later and asked her what happened. She said she does not know and somehow gave me the impression that since i did not accuse my cousin, I cannot accuse her of the marks inflicted on me while i slept. It was very saddening. I left from Sapele, Delta State and focused on establishing a business in Agbor, Delta State. I refused to spend the night at her home whenever i visited after this incident. I welcomed her to my office at Agbor and did not accuse her of inflicting marks on my while i slept at her home. I took a photo for reference.
